About Us

Mainiac Bakery was started and run by Kayla Hirtzel in Portland, Maine (home of the “Mainiacs!”). Kayla was often frustrated by the lack of vegan baked options and heard from many others who had similar frustrations. Herself a talented baker, Kayla was inspired to begin offering delicious vegan baked goods to friends, family, and referrals. Today, we are happy to offer those same baked goods to all those in the Southern Tier of New York!
